Marco Buitendag

Marco Buitendag has an extensive work experience starting from the year 2006 until the present. Marco started as a Financial Manager at Solenta Aviation and later worked as Finance Director at Acia Aviation Limited. Marco'sexperience includes working as Regional Financial Manager at Westvaal Group, Franchise Owner at The Gas Boys Klerksdorp/Allsolar Klerksdorp, Financial Manager at Westvaal Group, and Financial Manager at Rock Building Supplies. Marco later became Finance Manager at Curate Church where they worked until 2023. Marco's most recent role is Group Accountant at UBCO - Electric Adventure Vehicles starting from June 2023.

Marco Buitendag obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit from 1999 to 2005. Marco also completed articles in Accounting and Auditing from SA Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) during the same period. Marco obtained a certification as a Business Accountant in Practice from SA Institute of Business Accountants (SAIBA) and a certification as a Registered Tax Practitioner from SA Institute of Tax Professionals (SAIT). In 2017, they completed a Course in Consultative Leadership from GMD. Marco obtained additional certifications such as MYOB AccountRight Essential Training, Managing Organizational Change for Managers, Transitioning from Manager to Leader, Leading with Emotional Intelligence, Registered Business Accountant from SAIBA, and Registered Tax Practitioner from The SAIT.
