James Reid

James Reid has worked in various roles in the design and technology industry since 1996. James started as an Assistant Audio Engineer at York Street Recording Studio in 1996. In 2002, they moved to Omnigraphics as a Prepress Mac Operator and became the Senior Prepress Operator and Color Management Specialist. In 2006, they worked as a Freelance Retoucher, Illustrator and Designer at Photographic-Retoucher.com. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Senior User Experience Designer at Orion Health. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Senior UX Designer and Product Design Lead at Fergus. Their current role is Product Design Lead - Software at UBCO - Utility Electric Vehicles, which they have held since 2022.

James Reid completed a Diploma in Computer Graphics & Design from Media Design School in 2001, a Certificate in Mechanical Engineering and Design from Auckland University of Technology in 1999, and a Diploma in Audio Engineering & Music Production from School of Audio Engineering in 1996. James also holds additional certifications from IDEO U, including Ideas to Action, Leading for Creativity, Insights for Innovation, and Storytelling for Influence, as well as certifications from Udemy and Udacity.
