Brian Young

Brian Young is an experienced operations manager with a solid background in logistics and supply chain management. Currently serving as a Manager of Operations at Uber Freight since October 2022, following the acquisition of Transplace, Brian previously held the role of Operations Manager at Transplace from September 2019 to October 2022. In this capacity, Brian was instrumental in identifying process improvements, negotiating carrier contracts, and managing performance reports. Prior experience includes managing fulfillment center operations at Hajoca Corporation and leading the transportation department at CLX Logistics for a Fortune 500 company. Brian's career began with operational roles at Crowley Maritime, Manfredi Logistics, and A. Duie Pyle, leading to a strong foundation in transportation and customer service within the logistics sector. Brian holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Trade and Transportation from the State University of New York Maritime College and a Master of Science in Homeland Security from Wilmington University.
