Arin Sarkissian

Arin Sarkissian is currently a Senior Engineering Manager at Uber. Prior to this, they were with LinkedIn for just over two years, where they managed the Elevate Team responsible for building a social marketing platform for enterprise customers. Sarkissian has also founded and been CEO of Lootsy, a mobile marketplace app that was featured in the AppStore and acquired by LinkedIn. And prior to that, they were an engineering lead at Digg, responsible for leading the team in migrating from a monolithic LAMP stack to a service oriented architecture using python, java, jms, thrift, mysql, Cassandra & redis. Sarkissian has also held the title of engineering lead at Blip.fm, while also working at Fuzz. Arin is responsible for prototyping "twitter for music", which resulted in Blip.fm.

Arin Sarkissian has a BS in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis. Arin also attended Burlingame High School.
