Jarrod Phelps

Jarrod Phelps is an experienced technology professional with over 27 years in network engineering and management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager in Infrastructure at Uber since February 2015, Jarrod has been instrumental in the design, configuration, and installation of Uber's first three corporate data centers, and has worked with Palo Alto Networks for device management. Previously, Jarrod held multiple roles at Invisible IT / Milestone, where responsibilities included the design and support of large-scale networks utilizing a variety of routing and LAN protocols, as well as firewall configurations. Additional experience includes senior positions at iUniverse Inc., Clarent Corporation, and Gupta/Centura Software Corp., focusing on network operations, system design, and disaster recovery planning.
