Ruchica Tomar

Ruchica Tomar is a seasoned communications professional with over ten years of experience in media and corporate communications. Currently serving as Director of Communications and Head of Communications for India & South Asia at Uber since December 2021, Ruchica previously held the position of Vice President of PR & Communications at MakeMyTrip from July 2017 to December 2021. Ruchica also worked at Uber from August 2015 to July 2017 as Corporate Communications Lead and gained significant experience as an Account Director at Weber Shandwick. Earlier in the career, Ruchica was a Senior Anchor and Associate Senior Producer at TV Today Network, and a Reporter and Anchor at DD News. Ruchica holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Punjab University.
