Gemma Benítez

Gemma Benítez has extensive work experience in the field of technology and IT operations. Gemma currently holds the position of Head of IT Operations at Uberall since January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Co-Founder at lilaDot from July 2020 to February 2022. Gemma also worked as a Freelance Web Designer and Developer at Fiverr from February 2020 to July 2020. Gemma co-founded Kraftum in 2015 and served as a UX/UI Designer and Co-Founder from September 2016 to July 2020, and as the Founder from June 2015 to July 2017. Gemma gained valuable experience as the Head of IT Department at CESDA, a Pilot University in Spain, from September 2016 to July 2018. Gemma held the position of IT Technician at Diputació de Tarragona from December 2011 to November 2014. Before that, they worked as an IT Technician at Ayuntamiento de Valls from June 2008 to November 2011, where they were responsible for user support, program implementation, and the development of the intranet. Gemma also briefly served as an Advance OpenOffice Teacher at Diputació de Tarragona in November 2009.

Gemma Benítez completed their education in Computer Engineering from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya from 2008 to 2013. In 2019, they attended a bootcamp at Ironhack, specializing in UX/UI Design. Gemma also obtained various certifications, including ITIL v3 Foundation in 2012, ACTIC Mitjà in 2010, and multiple specializations in programming and technology from UOC in 2010. Additionally, they completed a specialization in CISCO Functional Networking in 2008.
