Erik Bornhöft

Erik Bornhöft started working for COMSOL, Inc. in 2010 as a Regional Sales Manager, leading a team of 10 people for the commercial area sales of the simulation software COMSOL Multiphysics in Germany and Austria. Erik was also a Senior Technical Sales Engineer, acting as a direct contact for prospects and customers in the area of Northern Germany with the tasks of new customer acquisition, lead qualification, product presentation, evaluation support, closing negotiations and support for existing customers. In 2022, they began working for UberCloud as Sales Director Europe. In this role, they work with large industry enterprises with 10,000+ employees and $1+ billion annual revenue in Europe to migrate their existing engineering workflows to the cloud. Common applications are simulation models for FEM, CFD, DEM and other scientific codes that have a high demand for computational resources.

Erik Bornhöft attended The University of Göttingen from 2004 to 2010, where they obtained a Diploma/Master in Physics/Aerodynamics.
