Hilal Zitouni Korkut

Hilal Zitouni Korkut has worked in the software engineering field since 2006. In 2006, they began working as a Software Engineer at Simsoft Bilgisayar Teknolojileri LTD. STI., where they developed a database for a classified military project using C++, QT, Crystal Reports, and Enterprise Architect, as well as an educational game application using Torque Game Engine. In 2007, they became a Grad Student and Teaching Assistant at Bilkent University - Computer Engineering Department, where they worked for two years. In 2009, they became a Software Engineer at GelişimPark Eğitim Bilişim ve Danışmanlık Ltd. Şti., where they worked as a software engineer and web developer on a java/jsp and flash based website for children about web safety. In 2010, they became a Software Engineer at Turkish Aerospace, where they worked on an avionics modernization project implemented with C using DO178-B standards. In 2011, they began working as a Software Project Manager at Innovile Telecommunications Ltd., where they worked as a part-time software project manager/developer. Hilal continued to work in this role for three years, during which time they managed and developed an Interface Management System project and an ETL tool. In 2014, they became a Software Technical Lead at UberCloud.

Hilal Zitouni Korkut completed a B. Sc. in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University between 2001 and 2006, followed by an M. Sc. in Computer Engineering from the same university between 2007 and 2010.
