Michael West

Michael West has worked in the software engineering industry since 2006. Michael began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at simPRO Software, where they developed version 11 of simPRO job management software using PHP, PostgreSQL, jQuery, jQuery UI, HTML5, and CSS3, as well as developed jQuery plugins for version 11 of simPRO. Michael also implemented upgrades and fixes for version 10 of simPRO using PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript. In 2012, they moved to Inuvo, Inc. as a Senior Application Developer, where they developed a Google Chrome extension using jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3 to replace the new tab page of Google Chrome with a set of tiles, allowing the user to run apps / widgets as well as display their most visited sites and bookmarks. Michael also developed Google Chrome extensions for Inuvo apps / widgets using jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3, and implemented upgrades and fixes for the Inuvo search engine using PHP. In 2013, they joined Ubersmith as Lead Software Engineer, where they developed new features for Ubersmith and Revloop business management software using JavaScript, Node. js, TypeScript, jQuery, jQuery UI, Vue. js, and Nuxt.

Michael West attended Griffith University from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Information Technology with a field of study in Computer Software Engineering.
