Yamac Ozdil has been working in the industry since 2016. Yamac began their career as a Supply Chain Coordinator at International Suppliers and Contractors Inc. where they were responsible for coordinating all aspects of the shipment process and transport arrangement. Yamac then moved on to Gestion Première Moisson Inc. in 2019, where they served as an Assistant Manager, supervising a team of 15 people and performing tasks related to customer care. In 2017, Yamac began working as an Instructor at Studio 88 Swing, instructing classes consisting of all backgrounds and ages and scheduling and managing various public events. Most recently, in 2021, Yamac joined Ubersmith as a Frontend Developer, building component-based apps with Vue.js and its tools.
Yamac Ozdil has a varied educational background. Yamac obtained their High School Diploma from Istanbul Özel Saint-Joseph Fransız Lisesi / Lycée Français Privé Saint-Joseph d'Istanbul in 2011. Yamac then attended McGill University and Polytechnique Montréal, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering in 2016. In 2019, they obtained a Communications degree from Université de Montréal in Audiovisual Communications. In 2021, they completed the Manifesto of Software Craftsmanship from Lighthouse Labs. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including NestJS Fundamentals in 2022, Front End Libraries - React, Redux from freeCodeCamp in 2021, and Ruby on Rails and Ruby Development Certifications from Codecademy in 2021.
