Mohamed Derouiche

Mohamed Derouiche has a diverse work experience. In 2020, they worked as a Project Manager and Full Stack Web Developer at UBIAI, an Oregon based startup that provides cloud-based solutions and services in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP). In this role, they acted as a SCRUM master, troubleshot and improved performance for handling large data, reviewed code, planned releases and approved deployments. Mohamed also helped UBIAI officially launch its text annotation tool, implemented their NER and relation extraction feature, and the highly sought-after OCR annotation feature. In 2019, they worked as a Full Stack Web Developer Intern at think tank Business Solutions Tunisia, where they developed a web application for searching indexed files for information and posting questions regarding different subjects. In 2018, they worked as a Freelance Web Developer and as a Full Stack Web Developer Intern at OMMP (Office de la Marine Marchande et des Ports). For their graduation project, they developed a web application for availability and distribution management of monographs belonging to the OMMP library and periodic press reviews orders and availability.

Mohamed Derouiche has an education history that spans from 2009 to 2021. From 2009 to 2013, they attended Farhat Hached High School of Bizerta, where they obtained a Baccalaureate in Mathematics. From 2013 to 2015, they attended INSAT - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées et de Technologie, where they studied Math Physics without obtaining a degree. From 2015 to 2018, they attended Faculty of Sciences of Bizerte, where they obtained a Computer Science Degree. From 2018 to 2021, they are attending Ecole Supérieure Privée d'Ingénierie et de Technologies - ESPRIT, studying Computer Software Engineering. In addition to their education, they have obtained several certifications, including Introduction to User Experience Principles and Processes from Coursera in October 2020, Front-End Web Development with React from Coursera in August 2020, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) from Ecole Supérieure Privée d'Ingénierie et de Technologies - ESPRIT in May 2019, and Test de connaissance du francais (TCF) from Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP) in October 2017.
