Casey Palmer

Casey Palmer is an experienced meteorological professional currently serving as the General Manager and Chief Meteorological Officer at UBIMET, where responsibilities also include directing the subsidiary UBIMET Australia in Melbourne. Since joining UBIMET in September 2014, Casey has held various roles, including Interim General Manager and Head of Operative Meteorology. Previously, Casey worked at StormGeo as Quality Leader of Shipping Operations and Senior Route Analyst, and at Weathernews, contributing as a Senior Voyage Planning Risk Communicator and Marine and Offshore Forecaster. Casey holds a Bachelor of Advanced Science with Honours in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Studies from the University of New South Wales, alongside a Diploma in Maritime Business Management from Lloyds Maritime Academy.
