Jānis Blumbergs

Jānis Blumbergs has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Security Systems Technician for G4S until 2010. From there, they transitioned to Riga Technical University, where they were involved in GRID computing, specifically focusing on Grid HPC computing middleware and HPC cluster servers administration. In 2011, Jānis joined Accenture as a Technical Team Lead and Java Developer, a role they held until 2017. During their time at Accenture, they gained expertise and leadership skills in the technical field. In 2017, Jānis joined MeaWallet AS as a Senior Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of software projects until 2021. Currently, they are working as an Android Developer at Ubiquiti Inc. since April 2021. Jānis' work experience reflects their versatility and proficiency in various technical roles within different industries.

Jānis Blumbergs obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) from 2007 to 2010. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Telecommunications Engineering from the same university, from 2010 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications such as "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera in November 2014 and "Oracle Application Development Framework 11g Certified Implementation Specialist" from Oracle in November 2013.
