Kristaps Berzins

Kristaps Berzins has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Kristaps began their career as a Web Development Intern at sem.lv in December 2014 and worked there until June 2015. Kristaps then joined Scandiweb in October 2015 as a Web Developer and Team lead, where they gained expertise in Magento, AWS, Three.js, and Knockout.js, among others. During their time at Scandiweb, they successfully completed several projects, worked as a dedicated developer for over six months, and served as a team lead for a team of five developers. In July 2017, they joined Printful as a Full Stack Developer, where they specialized in TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js, GraphQL, RabbitMQ, Yii2, Vue, Vuex, and Ecommerce integration development. Kristaps also gained experience in custom plugin development for Magento. Currently, they work at Ubiquiti Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, starting from January 2023.

Kristaps Berzins has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Latvijas Universitate, which they obtained from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Cesis State Gymnasium from 2007 to 2013, where they completed their high school education in economics. Additionally, from 2010 to 2012, they studied Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at Central College Nottingham and earned a BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma.

In terms of additional certifications, Kristaps Berzins holds the ISTQB® Certified Tester – Foundation Level from iSQI GmbH, which they obtained in October 2016. Kristaps is also a Magento Certified Front End Developer and a Magento Certified Developer Plus, both obtained in August 2016 and March 2016 respectively from Magento Commerce.
