Michael LaBosco, CPA, MST has over 30 years of experience in taxation and finance.

From 1984 to 1986, they worked as a Senior Tax Specialist at KPMG, where they gained valuable experience in tax planning and compliance.

From 1986 to 1992, Michael served as a Tax Manager at Dover Corporation, a Fortune 500 multinational conglomerate. During their time there, they prepared complex federal and state tax returns, led efforts to automate compliance processes, and represented the company in tax hearings.

In 1992, Michael joined SMSC as the Sr. Dr. Global Tax and Treasury, where they created the Tax Department and led treasury operations. Michael'saccomplishments include managing the income tax provision, overseeing significant merger and acquisition activity, and leading a successful legal entity restructuring project focused on minimizing worldwide tax liabilities.

From 2013 to 2019, Michael served as the VP of Taxation at Marchon Eyewear, a large international consumer goods company. In this role, they focused on tax planning strategies, maximizing tax incentives and credits, and managing tax authority audits in the US and abroad.

In 2020, Michael worked as a Project Manager at R&D Tax Savers, where they led R&D tax studies for clients in various industries. Michael also reviewed income tax returns for high net worth individuals and pass through entities.

Currently, Michael is the Director of Taxation at Ubiquiti Inc., where they lead and manages the tax team. Michael'sresponsibilities include preparing and reviewing income tax provisions, overseeing worldwide transfer pricing, managing income tax compliance, and working on tax planning and controversy projects. Michael also manages the indirect tax process.

Michael LaBosco, CPA, MST earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a major in Accounting from Hofstra University, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Taxation from Long Island University, attending from 1984 to 1986.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Michael LaBosco obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in December 1984.
