Michael Lin

Michael Lin has a diverse work experience in the field of embedded systems engineering. Michael started their career at UMC Japan as a short-term engineer in 2005. In 2006, they joined ZyXEL as a senior embedded engineer and worked there until 2011. At ZyXEL, they gained valuable experience in embedded systems development.

In 2011, Michael joined Ruckus Wireless as a senior embedded software engineer. During their time at Ruckus Wireless, they focused on Linux system development for Wireless Controller and Wireless Gateway. Michael worked on various projects such as logging framework, SSHD, network topology, event/alarm reporting, diagnostics framework, and processes watchdog. Michael also had experience in packet processing on Wireless Gateway. Michael's tenure at Ruckus Wireless lasted until 2014.

Following their work at Ruckus Wireless, Michael joined Ubiquiti Networks as a staff embedded system engineer in 2014. Michael primarily focused on network router product development at Ubiquiti Networks. Michael was responsible for bringing up the router product from scratch, including tasks such as Uboot fine-tuning, flash partition layout, GPIO, and I2C setting.

Michael Lin earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from National Chiao Tung University in the years 1999 to 2003. Michael then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from the same university during the years 2003 to 2005.
