Doug Barton

Doug is former President and member of the board of UBIX.AI. Doug is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern.

Previously Doug served as Director of IBM Watson in IBM’s Industry Platforms business and also held senior leadership positions at IBM Big Data & Analytics, Cognos (acquired by IBM), Closedloop (acquired by Lawson), Hyperion (acquired by Oracle), Arbor Software, Alcar and Price Waterhouse.

Doug is a frequent speaker on the adoption, promise, and perils of Artificial Intelligence and has served as the regional director of Advancing AI Wisconsin.

Today, Doug is the Director of the University of Wisconsin- Madison E-Business Consortium a breakthrough in academic and industry partnership and collaborative learning community focused on thought leadership, business best practices, and emerging technologies.
