Gareth Allen

Gareth Allen serves as the Global Head of Investment and Execution for Group Treasury at UBS, a position held since September 2004, with extensive responsibilities including management of the Global Treasury Investment Portfolio and oversight of collateral optimization and ESG investments. Previous titles at UBS include Global Head of Repo Trading and Global Head of Treasury Assets, leading significant teams and driving revenue generation across multiple asset classes. Gareth has also been involved in various strategic and supervisory roles focused on risk management, liquidity optimization, and collaboration with key stakeholders. In addition to a robust career at UBS, Gareth has been a Board Member of ICMA since 2020 and holds an MEng in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, completed in 2003.
