Jose Echevarria-Acosta

Jose Echevarria-Acosta has over a decade of experience in development and fundraising within higher education. Currently serving as Director of Development for Biological Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley since September 2019, Jose has previously held various roles at Stanford University from July 2014 to September 2019, including Assistant Director for Student and Young Alumni Development, where responsibilities included executing the Senior Gift Campaign and first-year annual giving programs. Additionally, Jose has experience in managing class giving initiatives and developing strategic communications for medical center development.
