Laura Hassner

Laura Hassner serves as the Chair of the Executive Directors Working Group and the Executive Director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at the University of California, Berkeley. With a strong focus on fostering innovation, Laura co-founded the Berkeley Changemaker® program, directing initiatives that bridge social change and technology, while also mentoring undergraduate students. Additionally, Laura is involved in various university committees and task forces aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. With extensive experience in program design, education, and leadership, Laura has a background in both corporate and non-profit sectors, having held roles at organizations such as the Alvarez & Marsal and Citizen Schools. Laura holds an M.B.A. with Honors from UC Berkeley and a B.A. with Honors from Stanford University.
