Jason Magness

Jason Magness serves as the Executive Director of Engineering and Campus Engineer at the University of California, Davis, since April 2011, managing a skilled team to oversee large-scale infrastructure and building projects. Previous roles at UC Davis included Director of the Special Projects Group, Associate Director leading Project Managers, Senior Project Manager handling complex infrastructure projects, and Senior Engineer overseeing the Solid Waste unit. Before returning to UC Davis, Jason Magness held the position of Senior Project Manager for the US Army Corps of Engineers, leading the $880 million Folsom Dam Auxiliary Spillway Project. With foundational experience as a Civil and Environmental Engineer at USACE, Jason holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University-Sacramento.
