Stefanie Oppenheim, PhD, is the Chief Analyst for Parentage and Diagnostic Testing at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine's Veterinary Genetics Lab, a position held since January 2006. Prior to this role, Stefanie served as Service Coordinator for the Nutrition Support Service at the UC Davis Veterinary Teaching Hospital from January 2002 to January 2006. Educational qualifications include a PhD and postdoctoral training at the University of California, Davis, specializing in reproductive physiology, transgenics, and molecular biology, as well as a Master of Science in Animal Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
