Amir Ferry

Amir Ferry currently serves as a Venture Fellow at Aditum Bio since June 2023. As a PhD student at UC San Diego, Amir has been involved in the Laboratory of Dr. Ananda Goldrath in the Division of Biological Sciences since February 2019, previously holding the position of Staff Research Associate in the same lab. Amir co-founded and served as Managing Director of Nucleate San Diego from November 2020 to June 2023, facilitating life sciences ventures through collaboration between scientific trainees and business students. Prior experiences include roles as a business development intern at Selecta Biosciences and a congressional intern at the U.S. House of Representatives, along with a summer research assistantship at Harvard Medical School. Amir earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Immunology from UC San Diego, a Master of Science in Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology from Imperial College London, and a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from Georgetown University.
