Elie El Kawkabani

Elie EL KAWKABANI is a skilled professional with extensive experience in bioprocess engineering and biotechnology. Currently serving as Group Leader in Mid & Late Stage Process Sciences at UCB since February 2014, Elie has led key bioreactor operations, managed resources, and optimized harvest processes. Prior experience includes a master thesis project at GlaxoSmithKline focused on developing a chickenpox vaccine production process, as well as research assistant roles at INSERM and Amatoury, where peptide synthesis and cosmetic formulation were key responsibilities. Elie holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology & Bioprocess Engineering from Polytech Marseille and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Lebanese University.
