Jeremy Chaufty

Jeremy Chaufty is a seasoned professional in the field of neurobiology and drug discovery, currently serving as the Target Biology Lead and Project Leader at UCB since April 2020, where contributions include establishing a collaborative global team and supporting long-term drug target identification strategies. Prior to UCB, Jeremy held the position of Associate Director of Biology at Ra Pharmaceuticals, focusing on CNS complement activation models and therapeutic opportunities. Jeremy's earlier roles at BERG Health involved scientific leadership in neurology drug discovery, encompassing positions from Senior Scientist to Postdoctoral Fellow, where innovative models and studies were developed for neurodegenerative diseases. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from Boston University and a B.A. in Biology and Psychology from Hartwick College.
