Ashwani Garg

Ashwani Garg, MD, is a Family Physician with extensive experience in primary care and medical education. Currently serving at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth since June 2023 and as an Associate Professor and Medical Director for the MS in PA Studies program at North Central College since July 2020, Garg emphasizes wellness and integrative medicine in practice. Previous roles include family physician positions at Advocate Health Care and NorthShore University HealthSystem, where attention to healthy lifestyles and comprehensive care for all ages was paramount. Additionally, Garg has contributed as a media expert since 2004, providing insights on health topics through various media platforms. Educational qualifications include an MD from Northwestern University, residency in Family Medicine at Hinsdale Hospital, and a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine from the University of Arizona.
