John Jahnel

John Jahnel is an experienced professional with extensive expertise in property, risk management, and environmental health and safety. Currently serving as the Property & Risk Manager at UCKG since January 2015, John oversees the Property & Risk Department for over 350 properties nationally. Previous roles include QHSE Manager and SHEQ Manager at SERVCO LDA and SERVCO, respectively, where duties involved conducting risk and hazard analyses. John has also managed operations as a Branch Manager at Compass Waste Services and held the position of Gauteng Landfills Regional Manager at Interwaste (Pty) Ltd, overseeing significant personnel and contract management. Additional experience includes serving as an Estate Manager at Lowveld High School and earlier roles in operations and maintenance. John holds multiple educational qualifications including NEBOSH certification and a Trade Diploma from Olifantsfontein.
