Lori Houlihan

Vice-Provost (Development) at University College London

Lori Houlihan is the Vice-Provost (Development) at University College London. Lori has previous experience as a Campus President, Student-Athlete Counselor, Course Director and Instructor, and Academic Coach.

Lori began their career in 2000 as an Academic Coach with the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame. In this role, they worked with student-athletes to support, train and inspire them in both academic and athletic domains. Lori then spent a year as an AmeriCorps Academic Coach before becoming the Student-Athlete Counselor at the United States Military Academy in 2006. In this role, they worked with the Office of the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Center for Enhanced Performance to support cadet-athletes.

In 2008, Lori became the Campus President at Mildred Elley. As Campus President, Lori was responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the campus, which included the management of instruction, personnel, facilities and budgets. Lori was also responsible for all functions related to enrollment, financial aid, academic affairs, student services, placement, retention, persistence and graduation. Lori held this position until 2014 when they became the Vice-Provost (Development) at University College London.

Lori Houlihan has a B.A. in Psychology from Monmouth University, an M.Ed in Counseling and Psychological Services Athletic Counseling from Springfield College, and a C.A.S. in Counseling and Psychological Services from Springfield College.

They work with Natasha Lewis - General Counsel, Anthony Smith - Vice-Provost, Education & Student Affairs, and Stella Bruzzi - Dean, Arts & Humanities. Lori Houlihan reports to Michael Spence, President & Provost.
