Piper Harris is a dedicated doctoral student and project manager at the UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies since 2019, focusing on the UCLA Diversity Project, which examines the psychosocial benefits of ethnic diversity in schools. As co-chair of the Graduate Student Association in Education at UCLA, Piper facilitates communication between graduate students and faculty while advocating for student needs and organizing departmental events. Piper's extensive research experience includes roles as a graduate teaching assistant, where exemplary performance evaluations were received, and as a research assistant in various departments at the University of California, Santa Barbara, focusing on social psychology, education, and sociology. Piper holds a Master of Arts in Education and is pursuing a PhD in Human Development and Psychology at UCLA, following a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara.
