David K. Yoo is the current Vice Provost of the Institute of American Cultures at UCLA. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Manager for MedQIA, LLC from September 2017 to January 2020, where they were directly responsible for developing the data quality check systems and performing data validation checks for various clinical trials with sponsors in the pharmaceutical industry. From November 2016 to June 2017, they worked as a Research Analyst for Research Consulting Group, where they were directly responsible for consulting, analyzing, and reporting statistical data for various projects. David has also worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Loma Linda University School of Behavioral Health from September 2016 to March 2017, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Loma Linda University School of Public Health from May 2016 to March 2017. In addition, they have worked as a Product Specialist at AK Scientific from September 2014 to June 2015, and as a Student Administrative Assistant at the American Language Program at California State University, East Bay from June 2011 to June 2014.
David K. Yoo has a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Biostatistics from Loma Linda University School of Public Health, a Bachelor of Science - BS in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology & Statistics from California State University - East Bay, and a High School diploma in International Baccalaureate from ISPP - International School of Phnom Penh.
