Deb Franzon is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in pediatric critical care and quality management. Currently serving as the Executive Medical Director of Quality and Safety at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals since June 2016, Deb Franzon also holds titles as a Pediatric Intensivist and the Director of the Quality Division of Critical Care. Prior to this role, Deb Franzon worked at Stanford Children's Health | Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford for over eleven years in various leadership positions, including Medical Director of the Pediatric ICU and Interim Division Chief of Pediatric Critical Care. Earlier experience includes serving as a Pediatric Intensivist at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego. Deb Franzon is pursuing a Master of Healthcare Administration at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, having previously earned a Doctor of Medicine from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
