Katharina Fischer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Their most recent role was a Human Resources Business Partner at UEFA, which they began in June 2018. Prior to that, they worked at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation, starting in February 2015. Katharina initially held the position of Venue Manager (HR) where they were responsible for security workforce planning and supervision of up to 450 staff. Katharina also had previous experience as a Human Resources Business Partner at the same company. Katharina also worked as a Human Resources Tutor at Griffith University from January 2013 to January 2015. Their earliest role, beginning in September 2010, was as a Global Idea Management Officer at SAP, which they held until January 2012.

Katharina Fischer obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from Hochschule Heilbronn - Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Informatik, during the period of 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from Griffith University in 2012. In between their bachelor's and master's degrees, they also attended the University of the Sunshine Coast from 2009 to 2010, where they continued their studies in International Business.
