Michael Gosch

Michael Gosch has a diverse work experience in transportation and event management. Michael started their career at Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich as a Project Manager. Michael then joined UEFA, where they held multiple roles including EURO 2008 Event Transport Technician and EURO 2012 Event Transport Manager. During their time at UEFA, they successfully managed transport operations for major events such as EURO 2012 and implemented innovative solutions like the dispatch software for event transport services. Michael later worked at VANOC as a Senior Manager, Parking Operations, where they developed a simplified parking scheme for the Olympic Games and implemented a user-friendly online reservation system. Michael returned to UEFA and served as the EURO 2020 LOS Liaison Manager, overseeing project management, communication streamlining, and recruitment processes for the tournament. In their most recent role at UEFA, they were the Senior Workplace Collaboration Manager, responsible for managing workplace collaboration and serving as the Enterprise Community Manager for BRIDGE. Overall, Michael Gosch has demonstrated their expertise in transportation management, project management, recruitment, and implementing innovative solutions to optimize operations.

Michael Gosch attended the University of Applied Sciences in Kapfenberg, Austria from 2002 to 2006. Michael earned a degree in Urban Technologies, specifically in the field of Traffic/Transport & Energy, receiving the title of DI (FH) / MSc. In 2004, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Salford in Greater Manchester, where they focused on Traffic Engineering for one semester.
