Samson Ho has extensive work experience in the field of user experience research and analysis. Samson started their career as a Search Editor at Yahoo! Inc. in 2014, where they worked on improving the quality of search products and provided support to the Hong Kong Search Editorial Team. In 2015, they briefly worked at Facebook in the role of Public Content.
From 2015 to 2016, Samson returned to Yahoo! Inc. as a Search Editor and continued to contribute to improving search suggestions and participating in competitive testing. In 2017, they joined Oath as a Content Analyst and Knowledge Engineer, where they continued their work in analyzing and improving content.
In 2018, Samson worked as a Search Analyst at Search Strategy Solutions and then transitioned to Verizon Media as a Content Analyst and Knowledge Engineer. In these roles, they gained experience in analyzing content and contributing to the development of knowledge systems.
In 2020, Samson took on a User Research Intern position at Rivian, where they gained firsthand experience in user research practices. Samson also worked as a Human Factors Intern at Honda Research Institute USA, Inc., where they contributed to projects as a Human Factors Engineer.
In 2022, Samson joined UX studio as a UX Researcher and continued to hone their skills in user experience research. Samson then moved on to UEFA in 2023 as a UX Researcher via UX Studio, demonstrating their expertise in the field.
Throughout their career, Samson has shown a strong focus on understanding user needs and improving product quality through research and analysis. Samson has also developed competencies in various areas such as content analysis, knowledge engineering, and human factors engineering.
Samson Ho earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Factors and Ergonomics (Human-Computer Interaction Emphasis) at San Jose State University, which they completed from 2016 to 2020.
