Thomas Hawkins has a diverse work experience in the field of sports media and communications. Thomas started their career at Sky in 2006 as a Broadcast Operations Executive, where they worked until 2010. Following this, they joined IMG Media as a Programming & Scheduling Manager for Premier League Productions. In 2014, Thomas Hawkins joined UEFA, where they held multiple roles including Marketing Information and Communications Manager, as well as Venue Operations and Broadcast Manager.
Thomas Hawkins has a diverse education background that includes degrees and certificates in various fields. In 2000, they attended the University of Exeter, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Politics. Following this, in 2003, they enrolled at the University of Gloucestershire and completed the Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching (CELTA). Thomas then returned to education in 2017, attending the IDHEAP | Institut de hautes études en administration publique, where they earned a UEFA Certificate in Football Management (CFM). Lastly, it is noted that they are currently pursuing a UEFA Diploma in Football Leadership & Management (DFLM) at the same institute, with an expected completion date in 2021.
