Paul Ursell

Paul Ursell is an esteemed ophthalmic surgeon with extensive experience in the field of cataract and refractive surgery. Currently serving as an Honorary Professor at the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Bradford and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Medical and Biomedical Education, Paul has held the position of President at UKISCRS and is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Epsom & St Helier NHS Trust since 2002. Additionally, Paul owns The Cataract Doctor and has been an Honorary Consultant at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, where involvement includes providing ophthalmic surveillance for Phase II trials of novel chemotherapeutic agents. With a strong educational background that includes an MD in Cataract Surgery from the University of London and an MBBS from Imperial College London, Paul remains an active contributor to the field through various national and international roles, including participation with the European Board of Ophthalmology and UEMS.
