Thomas M. Vick

Thomas M. Vick, P.E., PMP has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and project management. Their most recent role was as the Regional Principal Engineer at UES, where they began in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Engineer and Principal Consultant in Geotechnical Engineering at Professional Service Industries, Inc. from June 2020 to February 2023. From August 2019 to June 2020, Thomas served as a Geotechnical Senior Project Engineer at ECS Limited. Thomas M. was also a Regional Manager at TTL, Inc. from 2018 to 2019. Thomas gained experience as an Office Manager at Terracon from March 2015 to 2017 and as a Vice President at Raba-Kistner Consultants, Inc. from July 2009 to March 2015. Thomas M. served as a Group Manager at Kleinfelder from April 2009 to July 2009 and as the Director, Principal Engineer, and Manager of Geotechnical Services at Shield Engineering, Inc. from October 2001 to February 2009. Prior to that, Thomas worked as a Department Manager at Cooper Environmental, Inc. from October 1999 to October 2001 and as a Construction Services Manager at Geoscience Group from 1997 to 1999.

Thomas M. Vick, P.E., PMP completed their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from Virginia Tech between 1986 and 1991. Thomas M. further pursued their Master of Science in Civil Engineering (MSCE) with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1998 to 2006. In addition to their degrees, Thomas holds certifications as a Professional Engineer (PE) in multiple states including AZ, CO, ID, ME, NV, NM, NC, OH, OK, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, and WA. Thomas M. also obtained the certification of Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
