Service Engagement Intern at UF Hillel

Rachel Sobel is currently a Service Engagement Intern at UF Hillel, actively engaging over 25 students in volunteer and service initiatives while supporting the Gainesville community. In addition to this role, Rachel serves as a Student Admission Officer at the University of Florida, directing campus tours for prospective students and showcasing the university experience. Previous experiences include co-teaching a First Year Florida class as a Peer Leader, counselorship at URJ Eisner Camp and JCC Rockland, and acting as a Teaching Assistant at Temple Beth Sholom, where Rachel coordinated educational activities and provided one-on-one support. Rachel is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government at the University of Florida, with an expected graduation in 2026.
