Joy Twentyman

Joy Twentyman has a solid work experience in the software engineering and application development field. Joy started their career as an Application Developer at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines in April 2001 and worked there until May 2014. During their time there, they gained valuable experience in developing applications.

In 2014, Joy joined UFG Insurance, where they have held two roles. Joy initially joined as a Senior Application Developer, responsible for creating and maintaining a Continuous Delivery process for the Claims Application. Joy also worked as a developer lead for data export to an external vendor, facilitating claims review and enabling the recovery of money through the subrogation process. Additionally, Joy resolved bugs and provided data patches to enhance the efficiency of Claims personnel.

Recently, in August 2022, Joy was promoted to the position of Senior Software Engineer at UFG Insurance. Joy continues to contribute their expertise and skills to support software development and ensure efficient operations.

Joy Twentyman attended Minnesota Center for Arts Education from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained their high school degree in Visual Arts. Joy then went on to Drake University, where they studied Sculpture, Theater, and French and earned a BA degree from 1994 to 1998. After that, they attended Kaplan University (Hamilton College) from 1999 to 2001, where they pursued a degree in Programming and Network Administration and obtained an AAS degree. In February 2013, Joy also obtained the certification of Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer from the Oracle Certification Program.
