Ece Rana Erol

Ece Rana Erol, Ph.D., is a Research Manager specializing in Hydrogen Technologies at UFI Filters Group, a position held since September 2017. Ece has extensive experience in air filtration and fuel cell membrane development, previously serving as Nonwoven Applications Manager and R&D Scientist focusing on air filtration media. Prior to joining UFI Filters, Ece worked at the Institut für Textiltechnik der RWTH Aachen University and North Carolina State University, where significant contributions included establishing a pre-melt blowing resin characterization procedure and developing copolymer characterization methods. Ece holds a Ph.D. in Fiber and Polymer Science from North Carolina State University, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Textile Sciences and Engineering from Uludag University and Afyon Kocatepe University, respectively.
