John Holleran

John Holleran is an experienced educational professional with a diverse background in teaching and instructional technology. Currently serving as an Instructional Technology Specialist at UFT Teacher Center since September 2015, John previously held positions including Technology Teacher and Classroom Teacher within the NYC Department of Education from 2003 to 2015. In these roles, John designed and implemented a technology curriculum for grades Pre-K through 5, ensuring alignment with relevant standards and initiatives. Earlier in John's career, John worked as a Per Diem Teacher and as a Child Protective Specialist for the City of New York, demonstrating a commitment to child welfare and education. John holds a degree from Fordham University, obtained between 1992 and 1996.
