Thaib Lubega Mba

Thaib Lubega, MBA, is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in treasury management and foreign exchange trading. Currently serving as Treasury Manager at Uganda Development Bank since October 2018, Thaib Lubega oversees asset and liability management to ensure adequate resources for the bank's operations and investments. Previously, Thaib Lubega held positions as Manager of Retail Sales in Global Markets and FX Trader at Stanbic Bank Uganda, contributing to revenue enhancement in foreign exchange trading and managing market risks. Thaib Lubega's early career also included a role as Accounts Assistant at Spear Motors, where responsibilities included transaction reconciliation and reporting. Academic qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Makerere University Business School.
