Eriah Funnah (MBA) has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. WERE currently holds the position of Head of Special Programs Unit (SME, Women, and Youth Financing Segments) at Uganda Development Bank since November 2020. Previously, they worked as a Branch Manager at Housing Finance Bank from March 2014 to October 2020.
Before that, Eriah worked at UBA Group, where they held two roles. WERE was the Head of SME Banking from September 2013 to March 2014, and before that, they served as a Branch Manager from June 2012 to August 2013. Prior to joining UBA Group, they worked as a Business Banking Relationship Manager at KCB Bank Uganda from April 2009 to May 2012.
WERE'searlier experiences include working as a Team Leader Sales at Absa Group from November 2007 to March 2009, and as a Technical Associate (Assessment) at World Vision Uganda from January 2007 to September 2007. Eriah also served as a Community Development Facilitator (Volunteer) at Plan International from June 2006 to December 2006. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in banking, finance, program management, and community development.
WERE ERIAH FUNNAH (MBA) completed a Bachelor's degree in Social Works and Social Administration, with a focus on Economics, Management, and Administration at Uganda Christian University from 2003 to 2006. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), specializing in Finance and Financial Management Services, at Sikkim Manipal University in Gangtok.
