Lyoidah Kiconco

Lyoidah Kiconco is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as the Head of Exploration and New Ventures at Uganda National Oil Company Limited since March 2018. Kiconco also holds the position of Managing Director at Carlton Ltd, where business development and consultancy services in Petroleum Geosciences and Petroleum Management are key responsibilities. With a significant tenure at Schlumberger starting in March 2012, Kiconco has contributed as a Geologist and SIS Uganda Account Manager, focusing on software sales and technical support across East Africa. Previous roles include Geologist at the Petroleum Exploration and Production Department in Uganda and Hydrogeologist at Water and Environment Consult. Lyoidah Kiconco's educational background includes multiple advanced degrees in Geology, Petroleum Management, and Business Administration from esteemed institutions such as Makerere University and the University of Cape Town.
