Stephen Sheridan

Stephen Sheridan serves as the Regional Skills Planning Lead for the Highlands and Islands at Skills Development Scotland since June 2016, focusing on strategic relationships to influence policies and ensure a robust skills talent pipeline. Previously, Stephen held roles including Skills Planning Manager for Construction & North, and Project Manager for the Work Based Learning Hub, both within the education and training sectors. Stephen's experience also includes non-executive positions at UHI Inverness and Young Enterprise Scotland, as well as significant management positions at CITB, where responsibilities included overseeing education, training strategies, and regional partnerships. Stephen holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies, a Bachelor's in Business and Enterprise, a Higher National Diploma in Architectural Technology, and additional qualifications in Energy and Sustainability.
