Jim Leech is a distinguished Canadian business leader and advisor with extensive experience in governance and finance. Currently serving as Advisory Board Chair at the Institute for Sustainable Finance and as a Board member at Historica Canada, Jim Leech also maintains significant roles at UHN Foundation as Board Member and Chair Emeritus, and at Mastercard Foundation as Board Member and Chair. In higher education, Jim Leech holds the position of Chancellor at Queen's University and has been a Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company since 2014. Notably, Jim Leech was an Honorary Colonel for the 32 Signal Regiment, a Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister during the establishment of the Canada Infrastructure Bank, and the former President and CEO of the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Jim Leech holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from Queen's University, a Corporate Governance designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors, and a Bachelor of Science from the Royal Military College of Canada.
