Brett Porter

Brett Porter has a diverse work experience. In 2020, they began working as a Software Engineer for Uhray. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as a Graphic Operations Digital Specialist for BrandMuscle. In this role, they designed and developed landing pages and emails to work with proprietary HTML template software, managed and updated client's UI to reflect current promotions, and designed internal print and digital assets to meet brand guidelines. From 2014 to 2015, Brett worked as an Art Director for 435 Magazine, where they collaborated with the editor and publisher to ensure the magazine's mission is realized with a consistent and attractive visual presentation, designed each month's cover and feature stories, and supervised the rest of each issue's design and layout. In 2014, they also worked as a Production Artist for Universal Engraving Inc. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Graphic Designer/Production Artist for The Park Record Newspaper. Finally, from 2008 to 2012, Brett worked as a Graphic Designer/Manager for Dynamic Earth Equipment.

Brett Porter obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Art and Design from Missouri State University between 2003 and 2008. In 2019, they earned a Certificate in Full Stack Web Development from The University of Kansas. In August 2020, they obtained a certification in JavaScript (Basic) from HackerRank.
