Brian Leyland

Brian began his accountancy career in 1980 at Binder Hamlyn, before moving to a practice in Bolton in 1987, becoming a Partner in 1999. During this time he spent two years as a Finance Director of a Building Construction firm which gave him a real insight into how that type of business operates and created a specialism in Property Development and Property Investment companies. Brian became a partner at UHY in 2002 and is responsible for a wide range of owner managed businesses ranging from new start-ups to £50million turnover organisations. He continues to specialise in the property sector. Known for his hands on approach with clients, Brian takes time to get to know them allowing him to advise them on many financial aspects of their business.
