James Reeve

James Reeve has extensive experience in the field of design and digital transformation. James is currently the Executive Director of Design at UIC Digital, where they oversee the design strategy and leads new business opportunities. James is also a Co-Founder of Design Leaders Dinners, a company they helped establish in 2023.

Before their current roles, James worked at Foolproof for almost a decade, holding various leadership positions. As the Executive Director of Experience Design, they were responsible for defining strategy and improving the design practice. As the Creative Director, they owned the quality of design and development and challenged ideas to meet client and user needs. James also served as the Head of Creative, shaping creative output and driving creative thinking across the studio. James started their journey at Foolproof as a Principal Designer, where they developed the design practice and mentored teams.

Prior to joining Foolproof, James worked as the Design Director at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, where they managed and mentored teams for digital transformation projects. James also gained experience as a Senior Designer at the same company.

Earlier in their career, James worked as a Web Designer at Digitas UK and held the role of Lead Designer at Tesco.com. James started their professional journey as a Web Graphic Designer at Blue-Edged Media.

James Reeve attended Anglia Ruskin University from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in BSc (Hons) Multimedia Systems. Prior to that, they studied at Chelmsford College from 1999 to 2001, earning a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Studies. In addition to their educational background, they have also received certifications from The Football Association in various courses such as Introduction to First Aid in Football, The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football, and The FA Safeguarding Children Course, all obtained in 2017.
